Barcelona, home of the 37th Americas Cup, will host the final WASZP EuroCup of 2024! Replacing the Croatian leg of the EuroCup, which has been withdrawn from the calendar, the final international event in Barcelona will send a huge 2024 WASZP season off in style from 6-8 December.
Hosted by Real Club Naútico de Barcelona and Spanish WASZP Agent, Renting RIBs the event will mark the first leg of the annual Barcelona Winter Series. The second leg of the Winter Series will take place from 13-15 December, allowing sailors to race in two regattas on consecutive weekends, with some valuable training time in between. With the buzz of the Cup and a crop of rising Spanish talent on the WASZP scene, there is no better place to round off the season and kick-start those quality winter hours on the water.
As well as the final international regatta of the season, the Barcelona EuroCup will also be the venue for the WASZP Christmas Party! The city will be alive with festivities in the lead-up to Christmas, and the WASZP fleet will be too. Prepare for a knockout Christmas social of food, drink, music and tinsel in one of Europe’s most vibrant cities.
