Fast.
Fearless.
Fun.
1,700 boats. 45 countries. Sailors from 10 to 70, all flying a metre above the water. Here’s how you join them.
The Pathway
One boat.
Four rigs.
Room to grow.
You don’t buy a new boat every time you get bigger or better. You change the sail. That’s the whole trick. Start wherever you are and the same WASZP takes you all the way to a world championship.
WASZP_X
The junior foiler. Curved wing bars and a smaller rig make it stable, forgiving and easy to climb back onto after a swim. Most kids are flying inside two sessions.
WASZP 6.9
The gateway to proper racing, with its own dedicated fleets at every major event. Upgrading from the X is a sail, a mast section and the wing bars.
WASZP 7.5
The next step up, and the rig used for the women’s world and continental championships. Upgrading from the 6.9 is just a sail change.
WASZP 8.2
The most powerful rig in the range and the pinnacle of the class. World-class racing at the front, and just as welcoming everywhere behind it.
WASZP sailors have gone on to SailGP teams, Olympic squads and professional foiling programmes worldwide. Plenty of others just rock up on a Sunday and go fast. Both are the right answer.
